Hi Friends!
Here is a sample of the SOS Morse Code.
[Reference No: BH004]
An SOS call is an international code signal
for extreme distress. An SOS call can overall help you reach help and get out
of a dangerous situation.
Google partnered with emergency help agencies- Red Cross and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) - to create real
time safety information appear on your Google Maps app upon a disaster.
Its called SOS Alert.
This feature aims to have emergency information
on deck in any kind of disaster. This is pretty useful because Google maps will
detect your location and can give you a visual display of where to go and how
to get there.
The goal is to have correct and useful
information within the search engine and in Google Maps upon your search. It
will include information like emergency phone numbers, websites, maps,
translations, and voluntary donations.
You will have to manually search SOS Alerts
in google so install the latest version of your Google App and keep your
location turned on. This way, if you are in the area of a crisis you will
receive notifications.
The app includes real time updates on things
like road and transit closures and little icons of fires or red dots will
appear on your map of the danger zones.
I wondered why the hell trains were sending
the Morse code for “Q” when approaching a road crossing. I read and realized
they weren’t sending “Q” in Morse code. They were just sending a sound:
dah-dah-di-dah that didn’t mean “Q” but meant “approaching a road crossing.” It
IS “Q” in Morse code, but it doesn’t mean “Q.” It’s just a set of sounds.
Same for “SOS.” It’s not really “S” “O” “S”.
Let’s look at it:
. . . _
_ _. . .
That could be SOS, or IWNI, or VGI, and even
3DE, and so on.
But to remember it, it’s easiest to think of
it as SOS , that being symmetrical.
IN mobile phones, there is also a SOS system
is available let’s talk about that.
HOW
DOES THE SOS CALL WORK?
You can ask to get a call from the tracker
when the carrier pushes the SOS button (and only provided that the SOS button
is pushed).
You will get a notification of the SOS call.
When opening the notification (with just a click), a pop-up window will appear
and offer to get a call from the tracker.
By default, the tracker will call the number
that you set up. You can update this number from the pop-up window if
necessary. It allows for the first person who gets the notification to take
action quickly.
CALL DURATION LIMIT
The SOS call is limited to 10 minutes per
month and per tracker.
The tracker should not be used as a phone.
The SOS call must only be used in case of emergency.
TYPES
OF NOTIFICATIONS
You can activate several types of
notifications for each warning:
1 – Push notifications in the mobile app
2 – Emails
3 – SMS (optional)
